The secrets of life, the world in its incredible variety as well as the countless different people in it, have always been very interesting to me. I read abundantly about philosophy, communication and relationships, but also one or the other good or bad novel. It had fun to look at myself and to reflect on my patterns and habits. Very often, I travelled on my own, discovering new cultures and people, but above all, myself. Somehow continually looking for something new and more fulfilling in my life.

For me, life is a wonderful and precious gift. There is so much to discover and to learn. And I’m not talking about traveling to other countries. Getting to know oneself and discovering yourself, again and again, is such an incredibly exciting and enriching journey in itself. The world we live on as well as in, is so diverse. Full of magic, beauty and life. A huge playground filled with endless challenges, surprises and possibilities.it's just life, so keep on playing

Anyways, the really big change only began when a very special person in my life brought me to my very first Yoga class. At this time, I played 3 to 5 times squash a week. Laying relaxed on a mat and doing Yoga? That was not so much my cup of tea. At that time, I could not imagine which enriching influence this practice should have on my life. At the beginning, I didn’t really know what to do. All these different announcements (Iyengar Style). Also, I could not really feel a great influence on body or mind.

Well, that changed very quickly. Recurrent back and shoulder pain simply disappeared over time, and my general mood became more relaxed. In the course of time, through Yoga and the asanas, did I develop the first far-reaching steps into a more conscious, mindful and also spiritual life.

Yoga has become an absolute enrichment on my way and this remains until today. It is like life itself, a steady development and a part of my life, which I don’t want to miss anymore. This way goes far beyond the edges of the yoga mat and is giving me an indescribably, great deal of healing on many different levels.

Sometimes our lives have to be completely shaken up, changed, and rearranged to relocate us to the place we are ment to be.

In 2014 I announced my job, packed all my things in Germany and went on a journey again. I wanted to learn Spanish and immerse myself deeper into the world of yoga. Immersing into yoga has worked out quite well, ….but my Spanish is still – hardly existent 😊.

Furthermore, life had an entirely different plan to gift me once more. On my journey I discovered a small paradise in the forests of Costa Rica. “Pachamama”, a small spiritual community as well as transformation center, embedded in the diverse and magnificent flora and fauna of this country. Pachamama became the place where my life started to turn upside-down, and which also presented me with a new home.

The main focus of this community is the silence and a holistic way of healing. Aspired by meditation, a healthy vegetarian diet, various spiritual and therapeutic courses and seminars; and a sustainable conscious way of living with themselves and their environment. In these forests, I got to know a lifestyle that was far away from what I had known, learned, or experienced. Above all, I got to know myself again.

There, in harmony with nature, which has such an incredibly healing effect on our organism, I began to take more time for myself. To get back to me, to listen and to pay attention to what really feels good and is good for me.

In Pachamama did I step on to a wonderful new path in my life. A path to prayer, singing, music, and dancing 😊. In addition, I was fortunate enough to meet with many highly qualified therapists and teachers, to work with them and also to learn a lot from them.

My diet developed into a healthy, holistic, but above all natural handling of food and its preparation. Alcohol disappeared increasingly and yoga as well as meditation became a part of my daily routine. Over time, my general body awareness changed and I began to perceive subtle differences. Differences how my body responded to a different kind of food, but also how I was emotionally more sensitive to myself.

To feel connected with myself, content, whole and wholehearted, became eventually a feeling which arose from within and had not to be filled by any consumption. I could relate deeply to my body and my emotions.

Yoga, meditation, as well as the many awareness and emotional therapy groups as well as trainings and ceremonies of various kinds, contributed to this. I got the opportunity to face my shadows and inner demons, finding a way into the light and deep into my heart.

If you suffer it is because of you, if you feel blissful it is because of you. Nobody else is responsible – only you and you alone. You are your hell and your heaven too.Osho

All our lives can change in sustained and unbelievable ways, as soon as we begin to make the conscious decision, that WE want to change. It may not always be easy and it does certainly not happen overnight. But once we get the courage to break out of our old structures, slowing our lives a bit down,…..pausing, looking more closely inside and starting to work on us….we can rekindle the magic of our life.

Through a more active, healthier and conscious lifestyle, we have the opportunity to heal ourselves. Yoga and meditation, but above all finding our way back into nature, are supporting us on this way. Letting us again become a part of the whole.

Letting us find our way back. Back to ourselves and our innermost powers.

Intuition – Creativity – Trust – Love – Joy of life – Vitality

This wonderful gift of life has so much to offer. It is so diverse, enriching and simply incredibly beautiful. Nature, our Mother Earth, offers us all the ways to consciously and mindfully celebrate ourselves and our lives.

AHO
